Cormac Farrell
Environmental Scientist and head beekeeper with engineering company Aurecon

Cormac helped established the hives at Parliament House in 2013. He will be speaking to us via Zoom about managing the bees, the different types of bees they have and hives he is using.

There are about 2000 species of native bees in Australia, with 30 just in Canberra. Some native bees such as the Metallic Green Carpenter Bee, at risk of being lost.
