Anita Long 

President of Tasmanian Junior Beekeepers

Anita Long proudly and comfortably wears many hats; a mother, a wife, a farmer, a small business owner and the founder of a not-for-profit organisation. She is a passionate recreational beekeeper with a focus on engaging others in beekeeping and building strong beekeeping networks locally, nationally, and internationally. Anita is the Founder and President of Tasmanian Junior Beekeepers, a not-forprofit organisation which was formed in 2017 as a way of giving children access to fee free beekeeping in a safe and inclusive environment.

Anita will talk about how she set up the junior program, how she co-ordinates all the juniors, training and all things associated with running a successful junior program.
