Introduction & Housekeeping: President, Debbie Webber
Speaker: Bronwyn Wood's Housing your bees—Hive types
Q and A
Bronwyn Woods is passionate about honey bees, is an environmental educator on the subject and is keen to set up beekeeping training for children.
In 2017 she, with her husband Glenn, purchased Bob’s Beekeeping Supplies. They kept the name and relocated the business to their rural 10 hectare hill top farm at Watsons Creek. The business gives her an opportunity to utilise her university studies. She studied at the University of Melbourne doing zoology, and then went on to graduate with a Master’s Degree in Sustainability. Bronwyn is well versed in permaculture, is enthusiastic about living sustainably and in harmony with the local environment.
We welcome Bronwyn as our guest speaker at this May monthly meeting where she will be talking about bee housing. Bring your questions and lets have another great night talking about our favourite subject..... bees.
