 Australian based beekeeper Simon Turner has 20 hives in Gippsland specialising in Manuka honey and Apitherapy and other hives around the world.

In 2006 he established Malaika honey in Uganda to help develop a sustainable beekeeping industry. This work has won wide support and has been awarded a grant by the Australian High Commission in Kenya as part of their Direct Aid Program.
