Having heard various presentations regarding the introductions to Varroa and impact Varroa will have on our bee colony, from my recollection no mention has been made on how we should manage an infestation.  As we know the Varroa mite is causing issues in most countries in the world and given the severity of the result of an infestation I decided to find out how the Varroa mite is managed by overseas bee keepers who have dealt with this problem for over 20 years (Why reinvent the wheel)

There is a pleather of information regarding the control of the Mite in circulation on the internet and from my brief search I came up with two documents that provide good advice on managing Varoa.

Have downloaded and printed two documents that provide precise information from what Varroa is to methods of management. to protect the colony. Copies of these documents will be presented to the club library at the next meeting.

The sites for this information are. I believe I have it right!
